My name is Genevieve Martin and I am a UX/UI designer who loves to explore new ideas and develop interesting and innovative solutions to meet user needs.


 
 

I am an experienced UX/UI Designer and Researcher with a broad set of skills and 8 years experience in B2B and B2C products with an innate ability to build rapport with stakeholders and project teams. I combine a strong work ethic, experience across of range of organisations from start-ups to well-established firms and both national and international firms with a passion for user centric design. I am an allrounder who can work independently and who thrives in agile team environments which offer flexibility and innovation and which are focused on the user. I have a degree in Design Computing from the University of Sydney (Deans List for Achievement in Academic Excellence 2017) and outside work I love Skiing, Gaming, Travel, Drawing, Design and Photography.

Areas of specialisation: User experience design and development, product design, qualitative and quantitative user research, usability testing and evaluation, data analysis, Qualtrics, interaction design, UX strategy, wireframing, prototyping, storyboarding, data visualisation, customer optimisation, user interface design.

Prior to starting at Viator I worked as a Product Designer at Foxtel, Working in the iQ Box team as a UX/UI role while also doing User Research for the App Sub-divisions (Kayo and Binge). I worked as an Associate UX/UI Designer at Deltatre, working in the consultancy and helping design the mtribes product. I also worked as an academic tutor in “Design Processes and Methods” at the University of Sydney. I've done internships at the wildbrumby distillery near Jindabyne, NSW and at Start VR, a virtual reality startup in Sydney.
