Product Designer B2B (2021-2023) - UX Researcher B2C (2023-Present) @ Viator (Tripadvisor)

Responsibilities:

B2B Sydney: Researching and Designing features and updates for the Supplier facing NSP website that communicates and populates the traveller facing Viator.com. Working with PMs and Engineers to ensure insights and designs are carried through the whole process to launch.

B2C London: Facilitating Discovery Research as well as usability testing for the Traveller facing Viator website in order to inform future strategic decisions in the company. Working with Designers, PMs and Engineers to ensure insights are carried through the whole process to launch.

Skills: Experience designing for company business and strategy goals and designing for an established B2B and B2C product. Experience using Figma to create high-level detailed designs. Experience developing user flows and research boards in Miro. Experience using Great Question, UserTesting.com, Qualtrics and UserInterviews to facilitate user research and usability testing.

Achievements:

B2B: Individual Design resource that helped facilitate the launch of the Viator Accelerate Program - Facilitated Research into the pilot launch to inform the next iteration of the program. The Viator Accelerate Program “played a critical role” in the record-breaking growth seen in the third quarter (41% increase) and the $3 billion in gross bookings generated in 2023

January 2020 - August 2021

Product Designer - UX/UI (Foxtel iQ, Foxtel App, Kayo, Binge) @Foxtel

Responsibilities: Designing products for a wide audience (multigenerational users). This included designing specific features from research and ideation phases through to handover to development and launch. I also was responsible for collating user research from app reviews to develop summary dashboards and flows as well as using eyetracking software to facilitate user testing.

Skills: Designing for company business and strategy goals. Designing for a established product. Developing high fidelity prototypes and esigning high level detailed designs in Figma. Creating user flows and research boards in Miro. Using iMotion eye tracking software for user testing. Developing user testing plans.

2018-January 2020

Associate UX/UI Designer (Consultancy and Product) @Deltatre (formerly Massive Interactive)

Responsibilities: In Consultancy (Feb-Jul 2018), I was working with clients and applying UX/UI principles and tools to achieve user centred outcomes. I then moved over to the Product side working in an Agile environment to design features for Deltatre products from conceptualisation to launch.

Skills: Experience in working with a range of UX/UI design tools. Practical experience with conducting user research, creating user flows, developing wireframes and storyboards, prototyping, concept testing, rapid analysis testing and development of assets including UX specifications and UI kits. Practical experience with the use of Sketch and Axure. Experience in working in a fast paced Agile work environment. Experience working with a team a dealing with a range of stakeholders.

2017 Aug-Nov

UX/UI VR Intern @ StartVR

Responsibilities: Bug testing VR experiences, identifying UX/UI issues, researching and prototyping Virtual Reality experiences and presenting these to stakeholders for the purpose of displaying 360 videos and photogrammetry.

Skills: Practical experience in applying design and UX/UI principles and in development and project management. Experience in designing for a virtual space and working in a start up environment.

Academic Tutor in Design Process and Methods @University of Sydney

Teaching and demonstrating a human centred approach to the design of interactive technologies and environments to 1st year students. Teaching and assessing students in the theoretical concepts of design, identifying and reframing the problem space, using user research, ideation, prototyping and user evaluation and how to communicate design proposals through visual story telling.

Responsible for design of promotional material and merchandising, user experience research, audit of digital resources and making and implementing recommendations for better use of digital technologies.
